First Step – Know How To Become a Nurse
You’ll need to graduate from grade school or High School which took a couple of years. In the US, you can take the route of taking an associate degree in nursing which would only take you a couple of years, two to be exact. The next route would be to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree which would take you 4 years. The bachelor’s degree is the way to go for most people, but people who would like to practice nursing the fastest way possible, takes the Associate Degree Route.
If you need to become a graduate of Masters of Science in Nursing, you might want to consider the Bachelor Route.
Second Step – Choose the Right School On How To Become a Nurse
An Accredited institution with an accredited program should be your top priority in choosing the right nursing school. You might also consider the proximity of the school within your home. You might not want to travel too far. Traveling is part of your curriculum because you might be assigned to different training institutions for your field education.
Third Step – Pass Your Local or National Exams
In the United States, The Main Exam for For Nurses is Known as NCLEX-RN Exam. This exam is conducted nationwide and is conducted by Pearson VUE, their accredited testing center. Although the NCLEX-RN Exam is nationwide, the Licensing procedure is dependent for each state.

Pass you NCLEX-RN Exam by reviewing your Nursing Fundamentals and Learning Test Taking Skills.
After Passing your NCLEX-RN Exam, you can then complete your Licensure and become a fully registered nurse.
FOURTH STEP – FULFILL Your DREAM of HOW TO BECOME A NURSE by Applying for a JOB
When Choosing an Institution where you will work, consider the NURSING department that you would like to work in. Emergency Departments are fast paced and require a lot of standing and turnover of patients, while Ward Nursing requires time in charting nursing documents and charts, while still doing nursing care.
Surgical Nurses confide inside Sterile Environments and would sometimes require great patience especially during critical operations.
